Cat’s Bio

Hi, I’m Cat—a faith-filled, fire-tested mama of three beautiful girls and part of the team behind Velvet and Steel. I’m passionate about living strong, aging well, and helping women find their way back to themselves—mind, body, and spirit.

My story isn’t perfect. I’ve made choices that hurt. I’ve walked through hard seasons, carrying regret and pain I never expected. But Jesus met me there—and He didn’t leave me in the fire. He’s brought healing, purpose, and strength out of my brokenness.

Now, I want to encourage other women who feel stuck, ashamed, or forgotten. You are not disqualified. You are not too far gone. God isn’t finished with you. You can be strong. You can be healthy. You can be confident—and deeply loved.

You don’t have to stay where you are. You can step out of your comfort zone at any age and do something new. And I’ll be here, cheering you on every step of the way.
